On 1 July 1999 all credit unions became public companies
governed by the Corporations Act and regulated by the Australian
Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). As a result
of this change your Credit Union was required to modify its
rules to comply with the requirements of the Corporations
Act.
The Constitution was last amended at the 2006 Annual General
Meeting. A summary of the amendments made at the meeting are
detailed within the Explanatory Statement.
